HOW HISTORY WILL VIEW ABOUT TRUMP ? THE FACT,THE WAY HISTORY WORKS,NO ONE KNOW UNTIL DECADES AFTER HE'S OUT OF OFFICE.

There seem to be two themes in the answers: 1) Trump is an inexperienced imbecile, 2) Trump’s positions are despicable and will destroy the country.
What people will learn is that at the beginning of the 2016 election, Donald Trump’s campaign was basically a joke. Almost nobody predicted that he would win the nomination. However, he also angered a lot of people for the way he disrespected some minority groups. On the day of his Inauguration, Trump was already in trouble, but the FBI did not have enough evidence to stop him from being inaugurated. He is down to a very low level of approval by the American people. Trump will be known as a leader who insulted the leaders of Australia, Mexico, and whose press secretary claimed that Britain helped President Obama wiretap Trump Tower. Trump will be known as the Twitter Twit. He will be known as a man who was not intelligent enough to be President. He will be known as a disgrace! He could be called the federation abomination!Incredibly, Trump has never had to pay a political price for his malign speech, nonsense, utterly ridiculous ,shameless evasions and legion lies.He will rank dead last on every single Presidential ranking list for generations.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump gestures and declares “You’re fired!” at a rally in Manchester, New Hampshire, June 17, 2015.
Donald Trump’s presidency has had a major impact on how the world sees the United States. Trump and many of his key policies are broadly unpopular around the globe, and ratings for the U.S. have declined steeply in many nations. According to a new Pew Research Center survey spanning 37 nations, a median of just 22% has confidence in Trump to do the right thing when it comes to international affairs. This stands in contrast to the final years of Barack Obama’s presidency, when a median of 64% expressed confidence in Trump’s predecessor to direct America’s role in the world. With President Reagan Americans got politics based on staging. With President Trump they’re getting politics as pure entertainment. Even to someone who thinks Trump is a disaster for the country, politics in the US today is playing out like a riveting reality show. For his supporters our current president is the star of a wrestling show, damned near literally. He struts around the ring loudly mouthing easy to understand bumper-sticker clichés while the bad guys sneak around behind him and suddenly strike. He goes down, but he’s never out. He gets back up and pins his enemies while his fans cheer.Recall that Truman did worse to Japanese Americans than Trump has done to Muslim Americans so far, and Truman still has a decent legacy. Andrew Jackson collected the body parts of native peoples as trophies and he is on our money still today. I’d like to think that no one horrible could retain the public’s favor in any meaningful way, but the evidence is to the contrary. Awfulness is not nearly as important as effectiveness and jobsjobsjobs to the American public, a president who fails every moral test .He will not have a popular or successful legacy or re-election, but may not be considered “the worst.”

Supposing the investigations by the FBI conclude that Trump collaborated or cooperated with the Russian hacking attacks and he is impeached, there is no question he will be rated the worst president in recent history.

History will view Donald Trump as the most corrupt, idiotic, incompetent, joke of a President in American history.

Hopefully when it's all over history will write about the facts, whatever they may be. This election, no matter who won, has split the American people more than they've been in awhile and history should remember that, so, quite possibly, he may be remembered as the reason for that.

The allegations that he colluded with the Russians to attack US democracy are incredible. If the investigation shows Trump was a part of this personally or even that he knew there was something going on within his administration or campaign and lied about it or attempted to cover or distract from it it would be a greater scandal than Watergate was, making it the biggest scandal in history.

Worst president in history. There’s not even a close second, including Richard Nixon. He’s a slow learner about little things like foreign relations and how not to put your worst face to the world. Cut school lunches to build bombs. Work with the Russians to undermine the American system. Tell lies. Make us all ashamed.

When it comes to re-election, the only thing that seems to matter is the economy. Whether Trump is re-elected will depend most of all on whether he delivers to his voters, and remember that most of his voters likely do not care if he does awful things like banning Muslims. Recall that Truman did worse to Japanese Americans than Trump has done to Muslim Americans so far, and Truman still has a decent legacy.

If the history is to be written today, he’ll be remembered as the populist outsider got into office as a result of 8 years of liberal policies that divided the country, that could have been avoided if the DNC didn't rig it’s primary against an other populist guy in favour of a crooked politician from the establishment.

Is Trump the first insane President in US history?Denial of obvious problems, hallucinations, not the first, but he’s definitely the most.

The others that won elections somewhat more like Trump’s were Rutherford B. Hayes ranked 32/43 (1876), Benjamin Harrison, ranked 30/43 (1888), and George W. Bush ranked 33/43 (2000). None of them lost the popular vote by quite as much as Trump did. They all came within 1%. Trump lost by a more significant margin of 2.1%.

His legislative leadership score just took a hit, clearly Trump’s own Republicans don’t feel they owe him much allegiance. This is looking more like a Hayes or Harrison situation.

However—just my personal opinion from looking at his behavior over the past 20+ years and his less-than-ideal start as President—I’m guessing that history’s verdict will be very, very harsh

He will go down as a big, orange joke who fooled a lot of fools. He is already known as the most corrupt President that has done almost nothing in 100 days. The connections with Russia will always be associated with him because he was always kissing Putin’s backside. His good-looking family is as corrupt as he is. They are all trying to get more money some way or another.

When future US History students study this time in American history, what I predict they will learn is that we basically took a huge step back. We went from electing our first black president to electing a very racist president.
